This week I noticed most comments about pregnancy are negative, including my own. Although it's not my favorite time it isn't as bad as we make it sound. I feel blessed that Jason and I are able to have our own children and didn't have to try for a long time to get this blessing of ours.
When we moved from Ponca I was most sad about not being near my in-laws and leaving some of our really good friends, the Dickisons. I still miss them so much but I am glad I have made the friends I have since we have been in Yukon. One of the FF wives that colors my hair is due just 2 weeks before me and it has been fun to talk about our pregnancies together. She is sweet enough to throw me a diaper shower in a couple weekends too.
I really have felt blessed this week, we have a lovely home, great friends and family, Jason has provided for our family beyond our needs, Jaden is probably the sweetest kid ever, and we are blessed with another baby who I am sure will be just as sweet. I've been able to finish school while I stay at home with the kiddos and I feel so lucky to do that!
Alright enough cheesy stuff....
How far along:
32 weeks and 4 days to be exact. at this point I count the half weeks because I just want it to get here! Baby is the size of a pineapple. At my last appointment my doctor said I was measuring small so he will probably be a small baby. Jaden was only 6 pounds so this one might be just as small. We will see!
Maternity clothes:
Yep, but I am too big for most of what I have so they are uncomfortable, but since I have less than 2 months less I don't want to go out and buy more....I hate that you only wear them for such a short time, I feel like they should be half the price!
Sleep:
I need lots of it. I am just always so tired lately!
Best moment of this week:
We had dinner with my in-laws and it was so good to sit and talk with them for a while, Jaden loves to see them. I had a to-do list of little things I wanted done around the house and Jason took the day to get them all done. It was/is nice to see things around the house get done. I love our new house :) I also bought a body pillow and I wish I did it a lot sooner.
Miss anything:
My mom! I have been wanting her around so much lately. I wish she could just move in with me!!
Movement:
Still lots of it. I swear if the kid were any lower on my bladder his head would come out. I keep reading in my updates that the movement will be less often but that has yet to happen.
Food cravings:
WATER! I can't drink enough water. I gave in and bought Oreos the other day and they were delicious.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
feeling good!
Have you started to show yet:
This question is stupid at this point haha.
Gender:
Boy!
Belly button in or out:
out
Looking forward to:
Mona's wedding! My diaper shower, getting my hair colored and cut...it needs it! I am excited to pick a name too. We have a list of 3 and decided we would decide on a name when he gets here. I am excited to see what we choose.
I am excited to nurse this time around too. I feel more educated and care more about it this time, and will have things that make it a little easier that I didn't bother buying with Jaden. Even simple things like a nursing bra.
