Lately, I have been overwhelmed with the feeling of how blessed, lucky, loved and also grateful I am for the things in my life. First thing, is Jason. Any time I think or talk about how much I love him my chest warms up and I get teary eyed of joy. He has been such a great supporter financially for our family so that I can stay home with our kids, but also a supporter of my goals and emotions. He understands why I want to go to school even though I don't work and helps me accomplish that goal. Jason also blessed me with our little guy Jaden, and he is the absolute best dad. The best. Jaden is so loving and fun, he makes me a selfless person and motivates me to do better in all things. He is such a blessing.
Also, I have been blessed with a church calling of RS instructor. I only teach one Sunday a month but it has pushed me to not only study the lessons I teach but daily studying for myself. One last thing I have been grateful for is my other family, the Jump family. They so quickly took me in and love me and Jaden so much. Jason's sisters and mom have become some of my best girlfriends! And Jason's brothers and dad are such an example to us. Jason's brother is getting sealed this Spring and it has reminded me how important and blessed we are to have the Gospel in our lives and how important families are.
We have a lot going on this year and I know my blessings will just continue!
I love this post...gratitude is such an important thing to have in life and sometimes, it's hard to be grateful. I'm glad you're enjoying your calling. I had that calling not too long ago and I remember being so scared to have to teach, but in the end I was blessed with so much while in that calling. It makes me happy to see my family blessed. Jason is a great dad and husband and we are blessed to have married into such a loving, fun, family.
